I have combined the unbelievable softness of silk with the unbelievable softness of lavender fiber. This yarn feels otherworldly. It is SO soft, and strong for warping!

Fingering:

20% lavender viscose, 80% long-staple mulberry silk. ~2000 yards per pound. Dye with soda ash to dye both the silk and lavender at the same time, or acid dye to hit just the silk. (Don't leave in the soda ash more than 20 minutes; batch 8-12 hours at room temperature.) Comes on 500g (approx. 1.1lb) cones, priced per cone.
